Meet Hoshi! Hoshi is finally ready to find her forever home and lap. After living on the streets for way too long, Animal Control was able to catch her and bring her to Anderson PAWS. She tested high positive for heartworms and recently finished treatment. Hoshi is full of snuggles and kisses. She is so thankful to be loved and safe, and wants to show you her appreciation constantly. She is the ultimate velcro dog and prefers zero personal space. She is very playful and loves to show off her toys (but refuses to clean them up!) Hoshi does have a chronic hip dislocation, but that doesn't slow her down. She has been seen by a vet, and for now, they don't believe surgery is necessary. It is possible that Hoshi will need future treatment if the injury becomes painful for her. Potential adopters should have plenty of storage space on their camera, because you will want to take thousands of photos of Hoshi and her tongue. She's perfection! She is spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and current with all vaccines (as appropriate for her age) and on flea and heartworm prevention. Hoshi is currently being fostered in South Carolina. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Hoshi's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Hoshi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Hoshi’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Hoshi’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
