About this Cat
Need to rehome a neutered male cat fluffy medium to long hair white and orange/ buff with pale green eyes. He lives with my elderly mother who needs to move into assisted living by august 23rd. She cannot take him with her. He is about 5 yo. His cat sister (who recently passed of old age) tormented him and he spent a good portion of his life hiding. Since she has passed, he is coming out of his shell and spending time out in the open. She is so sad to have to rehome because he is starting to become such a loving cat. He uses 2 litter boxes and loves the cardboard scratchers. Is very playful once he is comfortable and does the cutest childs pose stretch. Would do best in a quiet home without any animals that might chase him. Might do ok with another pet but would need a slow intro and would be best if other pet is not a bully. located in granite city.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mahomes was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mahomes’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mahomes’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mahomes’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
