About this Dog
Hi, I’m Mara! My foster momma is guessing I’m about three years old. I’m on the skinny side right now since I was found out wandering the streets. I’m so thankful I am in a home and can eat all the food and treats to continue gaining weight. I am very treat motivated, which makes training easy. I will sit pretty as soon as I see the treat container. I love walking around the house with a squeaker ball in my mouth and still learning to share. I would really really like a yard to run around in. I’m great on a leash. And I’m crate and potty trained and rarely bark. I have met a ton of adults and kids lately and love them all. I’m also living with a chill, big foster brother who is showing me the ropes. I can be picky on dogs that I play with, and prefer them to be low energy or to be an only fur baby. Oh, and I love hopping in the car and going for rides. Can I go on adventures with you? born 8/1/22 Apply at projecthopearf.org
Contribute to Mara's Stash!

100% of Mara's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Mara.
Adopt Mara and Receive Mara's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mara's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Mara's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Mara, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mara's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mara was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mara’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mara’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mara’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
