Crimson is a teensy mama who needed some help! She was trying to raise her baby, Clover, on her own outside, in an area with too many cats in need. It was hard for her to get enough resources to survive, let alone thrive! Fortunately, we stepped in and turned their lives around. Crimson is not too shy, but she knows what she wants. Does she want things like medicine? Not really. But her rejection is very token, like she knows we are helping more than bothering her. She has been a very good mama to Clover, even as she's had to serve as Clover's only playmate, which can be a difficult task! Crimson is ready to be someone else's baby. Could she be yours? We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes. For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet. Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved. All CATsNAP cats and kittens are: Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age) Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions Micro-chipping as mandated by state law

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Crimson's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Crimson was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Crimson’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Crimson’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Crimson’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
