About this Cat
Munch is an adorable cat. However, he is very much one to not be aggressive in any form. He had two older cats living with him that were very territorial and hated to let him get near any food. I am now fostering him in the same room as my old lady cats (one is blind and deaf) and he was free to eat. Too much, however, as when he came in to our program last year his weight was 7 pounds and he has doubled that. Now he is on a normal intake and thinks he is mistreated. He is very gentle to the old ladies and does not steal their treats. When I walk in the room he will come to see what treats or catnip I might have but will then give me space to do what I have to do. I am teaching him what toys are and his favorite is a small birdie wand. He was fearful of it first as toys were new but adjusting to them. In his prior home he was sadly mistreated as far as enough food and love and attention but is simply bursting to be loved and to bond with a person that is committed for a lifetime. He is a bed sleeper. It took two weeks for him to come out from under the human bed at first but now he owns it. He does not want a short term relationship. He will give love and loyalty (if a dog can do it so can a cat) in exchange for love and food and shelter and medical care. He hates a empty food dish He loves a belly rub on the bed and catnip on the tree. Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten! If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org. We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes. For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet. Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt! We care deeply about our cats and want the best match for all involved. All CATsNAP cats and kittens are: Vaccination against Panleukopenia (Distemper), Rhinotracheitis, and Calicivirus Vaccination against Rabies (if animal is over 4 months of age) Testing for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) Initial de-worming, flea, and ear mite treatment Sterilization of the animal prior to adoption; no exceptions Micro-chipping as mandated by state law

Adopt Munch and Receive Munch's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Munch's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Munch's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Munch, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Munch's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Munch was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Munch’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Munch’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Munch’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
