Little Louis may not have a tail but he still has tons of personality and cuteness. Louis enjoys playing with his toys and also getting lots of love and pets. Louie is particularly fond of his kitten brother, Taffy, and would love to be adopted with him. Please note - Starfish Animal Rescue does not adopt out young kittens as only kittens in the home. Kittens must be adopted in pairs or to a home where there is a friendly adult cat who wants a friend. Interested in meeting Louis? All of our cats are in foster homes - we do not have a facility where you can come to meet them. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Louis was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Louis’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Louis’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Louis’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
