Meet lovely Speckle! Speckle is a 2-year-old rattie chihuahua mix that absolutely loves to play. She will fetch a ball and toy as many times as you will throw it for her. She also loves to play tug of war. She can even play rough and get a little mouthy, so you may have to remind her to be polite. This little girl is 8 lbs. of fun and energy. She is also reliably house-trained once she gets on a good schedule. Speckle loves her family, but barks at strangers, so a quiet home where her people are around and giving her lots of attention would be ideal. While Speckle gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home, she's much more interested in her person. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Speckle (GA) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Speckle (GA)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Speckle (GA)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Speckle (GA)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
