About this Cat
Date of Birth: 6/8/24Adoption Fee: $150.00Date Posted: 11/2/24Hello! My name is Koa. The first thing that you will probably notice about me is that I am blind. Some people may think that is really sad. They may say that my life will be hard. That is so not true!! I am one of the happiest little boys you will ever meet! I have other awesome senses that help my to enjoy every moment of my life on this beautiful planet. My ears help me to hear the bells in my balls as they roll across the floor. I love to chase them! I like to pounce on the little toy mice that sound like they have rattles in them. I use my little nose to help me smell my feline foster buddies. I think it is hilarious to wait for them just around the corner and then use my best WWF moves to kickstart a little wrestling match. I use my tender little paws to gently touch faces so humans know I love them. I turn on my very loud magic purr motor voice to let everyone know I am content. I am NOT that pitiful little blind kitten. I am Koa which means "warrior". I am strong and mighty. Life wasn't easy for those first few weeks. My real kitty mommy knew I was sick and left me. She knew she couldn't help. Someone found me sitting alone in a park. She took me to the lady who would be my foster mommy telling her that it was as if I was waiting to die, as if I had just accepted it. One of my eyes had already ruptured and the other one was so infected. It hurt really bad but I continued to be brave. I was covered in itchy ringworm. My foster mommy knew that she had a little fighter on her hands as soon as she laid eyes on me. That is why she named me Koa. My foster mommy told me that I am healthy now so it is time for me to find my forever family. That sounds like a really cool thing but she had a tear on her face when she said it. I asked her why. She told me that it is because she is so proud of me. She says I make her laugh with all my silly antics. She says one of her favorite things is to press her face against my super soft, bunny-like fur because it makes her feel all peaceful inside. She says that she will miss seeing me run to her so happily when she calls my name. She says that it is her job as my foster mommy to take care of me and love me home. She says that caring for me has been one of her greatest joys. It will be the thing that makes someone else so happy too. She knows that I deserve a home and humans to call my very own because I am an incredibly special boy with an enormous amount of love to share. It is time for me to find my place in the world. I am looking forward to meeting you!

100% of Koa's Dogecoin balance will be sent to whoever adopts Koa.
Adopt Koa and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Koa's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Koa's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Koa, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Koa's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Koa was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Koa’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Koa’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Koa’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
