About this Cat
Date of Birth: 8/27/23Adoption Fee: $100.00Date Posted: 9/16/24Hi! My name is Boots. My foster mom thinks that if I could talk I would say, "I wanna hold your hand...and...and". You know? Just like in the song by the infamous Beatles. She was trying so hard to take a picture but all I wanted to do was stay close touching my paw to her hand so that she would continue to pet me. Foster mom is really amazed at how trusting and loving I am even though I have had a pretty rough start in life. I was found on the side of the road when I was a tiny baby kitten. The person who found me took me inside a bar, held me in the air, and yelled out asking who wanted a kitten. The person who took me that day didn't know a lot about what a tiny baby needs. He never took me to the vet for vaccines or any of that other stuff that kittens need. We were living in a dingy basement together but I was mostly alone because he slept a lot and didn't really want to play or cuddle with me. Just a little while ago, we found out we were being kicked out of our basement. I thought this was bad but has turned out to be really awesome! I was placed in a foster home where I got great food, clean litter boxes, LOTS OF PETS, and even feline friends to keep me company and play with me. I was a little nervous for the first few days because everything was so different from before. It didn't take me long to realize I was in a great place! I started to enjoy playing with a girl almost my same age. We chased each other and played with the toys together. There were little kittens in the room too; I was so gentle. I had never been around little ones but I knew that I had to be careful with them. I started coming over to my foster mom as soon as she walked in the room rubbing against her and giving her head butts to express my appreciation for chin scratches and back rubs. My foster mom wants me to find a really wonderful home where I will be part of the family and never sent to the basement again. I am a playful, happy boy who just wants to be loved and give love. Nothing can take away my spark because I know life is good! I look forward to meeting you!

Adopt Boots and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Boots's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Boots's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Boots, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Boots's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Boots was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Boots’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.
Learn more about it on youtube or at dogecoin.com.
We want the Boots’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Boots’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
