About this Dog
We rescued Bob when he was 2ish years old. In the last 9 years, Bob has come a long way and took well to dog training. We now have a young child with special needs and we another baby on the way. Bob needs more attention than we can give him with two children. He would prefer to be in a home where people are home much of the day. Bob has separation anxiety and will bark and whine when separated. He also enjoys barking at what he sees outside. This is quite challenging for our special needs child, who is distressed by loud sounds. We can no longer manage Bob's needs and our child's needs, particularly with another child on the way. Bob likes going for walks, eating peanut butter, and sitting next to you on the couch. He is a clever dog and enjoys toys that provide some challenge (and treats). He currently lives with another dog and enjoys her calm companionship, but is also fine without a canine friend. Most important to him is consistent human companionship.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Bob's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Bob was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Bob’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Bob’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Bob’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
