About this Dog
Nova it's truly a special soul, he will love you all the way to the moon and back five times once he opens up to you. *Personality: His biggest growth edge is to first open up and TRUST people, once he trusts you he will forever be yours. At the beginning he will bark in honor to remain safe from strangers (especially men), but he is just making sure he will not be hurt like he was at the beginning of his life. On occasions where new things/people are happening around him (or location changes from his usual home base) he will be sensitive to loud noises and strong movements, creating him to be anxious and on the lookout to defend himself just in case someone attacks. During these moments he needs your support and remain at a distance with his leash till he fully acclimates. He needs love on a daily basis but he is very independent and sleeps a lot. Nova it's beyond intelligent so he knows how to work things around to find excuses to love you even more and get more treats, yet, when redirected accordingly and enticed with treats he will learn fast to follow instructions according to your needs (Ex. Not going on top of the sofa and/or bed, stop barking and come inside the home) *Care instructions: Fully house trained and remains tranquil in a crate for up to 6+ hours with no accidents if needed in a long day at work. He eats "Perfect balance" (dry food brand) and eats One cup and a half daily or so daily. Nova it's a very healthy dog. He needs every two/three months to receive a nail cutting *Note: Amidst his sensitivity to new settings and people, Nova is very low maintenance dog, that prefers on any given day to stay with you in outside places and also inside the home. However, he will be okay being left in his room/crate. He is truly an awesome in-home company (specially for those working at home). He has a muzzle and neck collar for special situations (vet and nail clipping day which happens every 2/3 months and only his front legs need to be trim just a bit- tu keep it simple I just cut his first nail, which is the one that growths a bit more) *Breed: Unknown But Best Guess Is: Chihuahua Mixed With Dachshund.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Nova's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Nova was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Nova’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
