About this Dog
On December 24, 2024, Christmas Eve, my foster parents found us locked in a crate in the back of a pickup truck, no food, water, cold, and it was raining. When taken to Miracle Ranch, that’s where my foster parents live, the leashes on our necks were cut off. We’d been wearing same since small pups. That same night, at 11:00 p.m. my foster daddy gave us a bath, fed us, cuddled us, and gave us a really nice warn bed to sleep in. Since then, we’ve been vaccinated, taken care of, and loved. Now, we are ready for our forever home. We’re very affectionate, and super fun to play with. We’re very rumbunctious and we are 14 months old and still growing into our paws! My foster parents will require a small adoption fee and know who you are so that we can go home with you. You can adopt us together or separate, we’re big boys now, and we can handle it. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Burt was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Burt’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Burt’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Burt’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
