About this Cat
Meet Kat – A Sweet, Loving Companion Looking for a Second Chance Sometimes life brings us back to the beginning—but that just means a new journey can start. Meet Kat, a beautiful and affectionate cat with a gentle heart. Originally adopted from Pet Rescue By Judy in 2024, Kat thought she had found her forever home. Sadly, due to her owner’s developing allergies, she and her feline companion Max (not originally from PRBJ) were both returned to our care. While transitions like this are never easy, Kat has shown nothing but grace and kindness. She’s incredibly friendly, loves being petted, and thrives on attention and affection. Her calm and loving nature makes her a wonderful companion for a peaceful home. Kat previously lived in a quiet home without children, so we’re unsure how she feels about them. However, based on her sweet demeanor, we believe she would do well with older, respectful children who understand how to interact gently with pets. She gets along well with other cats and has adjusted admirably to all the recent changes in her life. Now, she’s simply looking for someone who will open their heart and home to her—for good this time. Kat is ready for her true forever home. Could that be with you?

100% of Kat's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Kat.
Adopt Kat and Receive Kat's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Kat's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Kat's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Kat, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Kat's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Kat was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Kat’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Kat’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Kat’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
