About this Dog
Meet Koda Breed: Shepherd Mix Estimated DOB: 5/23/25 Looking for a pup with personality plus? Koda might just be your guy! Koda was found 4th of July in a ditch and ended up at Pritchard Shelter. No owner ever came for the little man so he landed in one of our amazing foster homes. This opinionated little fella has a lot to say and isn’t afraid to bark about it — lovingly nicknamed “Sir Barks-a-Lot” by his foster family. He’s got strong opinions and even stronger toy preferences. Koda is a squeaky toy connoisseur and hoarder — if it squeaks, it’s his (and probably hidden under his bed). He's a professional shadow — not because he’s clingy, but because he’s nosy and just has to know what you’re up to (and silently judge you while doing it). Outside, he’s a sun-worshipping superstar who will pretend not to hear you when it’s time to come inside. Koda is strong-willed and confident, so he’ll do best with an experienced, patient home — preferably one with another dog to show him the ropes and help burn that puppy energy. He gets along with everyone he meets, but a fenced-in yard is a must for this active boy. Koda’s ready to bring a little sass, sunshine, and squeaky toy chaos into your life. Could he be your perfect match? Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful animals, we ask that you please fill out our online application: https://form.jotform.com/223268341300041 We are a 100% volunteer organization and have to work other jobs to pay the bills. Please give us up to 48 hours to respond. Submission of an adoption application does not obligate you to adopt nor does it guarantee approval. We look forward to hearing from you. We are located in Pensacola, Fl. Local applications considered first, but will consider out of state applications if transport can be arranged. Please note all animals in the home must be altered, up to date on vaccines, and be on heartworm prevention. We understand there are some special cases and will take those into consideration.

Adopt Koda and Receive Koda's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Koda's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Koda's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Koda, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Koda's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Koda was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Koda’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Koda’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Koda’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
