Meet Rosie, A Gentle Soul Ready for Her Forever Home. Rosie is a petite sweetheart with a heart full of love. Rescued from a tough situation in Pensacola along with her five kittens, Rosie proved to be a devoted and patient mother. Now that her little ones are finding their own homes, it's Rosie's turn to be pampered and loved. Although she may be a bit shy at first, Rosie quickly warms up and shows her affectionate nature. She purrs with contentment when petted, enjoys curling up on a cozy lap. She loves watching the world go by from a sunny window perch. She thrives in calm, peaceful surroundings and would do best in a quiet home where she can feel safe and adored. Rosie also gets along well with small, gentle dogs and could happily share her home with one. She does have a wonky eye that the vet said was probably congenital and that is wouldn't cause her any problems in the future. They think she may have some sight out of that eye, but even if not - she moves around the house just fine. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a soft spirit and a loving heart, Rosie might just be your perfect match. Give this sweet mama the safe, loving home she truly deserves. Our adoption fees are $75.00 for any kitty 6 months of age or older. $85 for kittens under 6 months of age. Included in each adoption: age appropriate shots, microchip, and spay/neuter surgery. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Rosie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Rosie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Rosie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Rosie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
