About this Dog
Roxie is an adorable 4-month-old doodle who is as smart as she is sweet. She’s already crate trained and sleeps through the night like a champ. Roxie is working hard on potty training. She doesn’t quite alert yet, but she does have little “tells” that her foster family is learning to recognize. This girl is eager to learn and has already picked up some impressive skills for her age! She knows sit, go to your place, and even waits to go outside or come back in. She’s currently working on lay down and wait. Roxie wants to please and picked up the routine in her foster home within just days; she’s incredibly trainable and loves using her big brain. Like most puppies, Roxie is a chewer, but not a super-chewer, and hasn’t destroyed anything when supervised. She’s very curious on walks, sometimes pulling a bit, but is easily redirected and improving daily with leash training. Roxie is an energetic, happy pup who loves to play with her foster brother, Zeus (a 3 ½-year-old pitty). She’s pretty neutral with him, sometimes following his lead, sometimes out front but always in a respectful, easygoing way. She shows occasional submissive behaviors but isn’t overly dominant either. She enjoys the company of other dogs, loves people, and is learning that eating alone is just as safe as eating with an audience. Roxie has a playful, loving personality and is sure to bring endless joy to her forever family. She’ll thrive in a home that can keep her active, engaged, and continuing to learn. The adoption donation is $260 and will include spay, microchip and vaccines. She will benefit from a home committed to enrolling her in training while she is still a puppy and eager to learn. 100% of Roxie's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Roxie.
Adopt Roxie and Receive Roxie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Roxie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Roxie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Roxie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Roxie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Roxie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Roxie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Roxie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Roxie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
