About this Dog
Beau is a one-of-a-kind pup with a heart as big as his name. Born with Microphthalmia, a condition that affected the development of his eyes, Beau was blind from birth and eventually needed surgery to remove both eyes due to chronic infections and discomfort. Now pain-free, this sweet boy is ready for the next chapter, a forever home. Beau is full of life, spirit, and surprising amounts of sass. He’s potty trained, crate trained, and walks politely on leash. Since coming into a foster home, Beau has been working on building confidence, learning to navigate new environments, and brushing up on his basic manners. He’s eager to please, food motivated, and quick to learn when given clear, consistent guidance. He’s also the perfect balance of playful energy and couch potato. Beau loves to go all out during playtime by running around, wrestling, and sometimes getting a bit rough when he’s really excited. But after a few minutes, he’s ready to curl up on the couch and nap for hours. Beau is fantastic with other dogs, especially large, playful dogs who are tolerant of the fact that he can sometimes be unaware of his surroundings. He’s completely neutral around cats and doesn’t bother them at all. With people, he is very sweet, though he can be a little skeptical at first simply because he can’t see. He just needs someone who will be mindful of that, go at his pace, and give him the space to feel safe. Once Beau settles in, you’ll discover the best companion you could ask for. He loves sunbathing, giving kisses, snuggling up for naps, and playing with toys. He also enjoys enrichment like puzzle toys and snuffle mats, and he’s obsessed with water and sticks. Beau would thrive in a calm, patient home & would love another respectful dog to show him the and a person or family who will be his advocate, cheerleader, and guide. With a little guidance and patience, Beau will give you a lifetime of loyalty, joy, and love. The adoption donation is $210 and will include neuter, microchip and vaccines. He will benefit from a family willing to continue to reinforce his training. Please follow the link below to submit an application: https://bit.ly/3GDeyyo

Adopt Beau and Receive Beau's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Beau's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Beau's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Beau, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Beau's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Beau was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Beau’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Beau’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Beau’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
