About this Dog
Maple is new and starting to blossom. At times you can see her smile, especially when she knows you’re going to feed her. We don't know much about her history as she came from a shelter. Her interactions with other dogs and new people are happy but cautious. She's done really well with her house training and has learned to handle being crated when the family goes to work. She can be a bit vocal for the first 5 minutes. Maple enjoys snuggles and cuddles with her foster parents but will then lie down and doesn't require constant attention, but she does like to be near them. She does play with toys and other dogs and has a slightly above average energy level. She shares toys well but she is very food motivated and not willing to share that. Maple Is currently in a foster home in Louisiana, but we are planning for her to come to Florida by the end of August.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maple II was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maple II’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Maple II’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maple II’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
