About this Dog
Raffles has a happy tail and he is quite social when meeting people. He's a gentle fellow and even though there are no children in his foster home, we think he might be good with them. He arrived from Alabama on a plane (thank you Puppy Rescue Flights!), and although he had just met his foster mom, he allowed her to carry him across the hot tarmac all the way to her car. When he arrived at home he tried out all the different dog beds and open crates. Belly up is his favorite sleeping position. Raffles has a moderate energy level and he's definitely good with the other dogs in the household, but we have no idea about cats. He LOVES feeding time and eats in the kitchen with Gena, another SEBR foster. Although he cleans his bowl first, he doesnt go bother her. He loves treats too but likes to play with his jerky strips first, throwing them up in the air before eating them. Raffles picked up very quickly on the doggie door, even though it appeared new to him. He goes out to do his business, then comes right back in. When his foster mom is going to be gone for longer than a couple hours, Raffles is crated. He does really well and doesn't seem to mind it at all. He is very tolerant of having his ears cleaned and nails trimmed. He hasnt shown any interest in dog toys but he likes to steal his foster mom's slippers and keep them in his bed. Raffles is heartworm negative but we do want to do a dental for him which is scheduled on August 26th. Then he will be ready for a sleepover with you!

Adopt Raffles and Receive Raffles's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Raffles's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Raffles's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Raffles, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Raffles's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Raffles was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Raffles’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Raffles’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Raffles’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
