About this Dog
When we saw Happy's pictures with a request to help this stray senior boy, we immediately wanted to help him. We also knew we wanted to name him Happy! He has now settled into his foster home and here is what his foster mom shares about him. "Happy! Omg what a love he is! He takes turns snoozing in all the dog beds. He naps a lot, gets up and heads out the doggie door to do his business and then comes back in for another nap. Very quiet. When I got home from work today he was up on the sofa sunk into the pillows. Loves mealtime. No issues with any of the dogs. He appreciates when I pet him but doesn't nudge for me pets, and he is gentle and cooperative when I clean his ears. He does sleep hard so I make sure he sees me before touching him. I haven't heard him bark yet. He's learned the dog door and heads out whenever he needs to do his business. He likes to walk the yard and goes at a nice pace." Happy is heartworm negative but we do have a vet appointment for him just to get some senior blood work done and make sure all is good. He would be ready for a sleepover at the end of August.
Contribute to Happy's Stash!

100% of Happy's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Happy.
Adopt Happy and Receive Happy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Happy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Happy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Happy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Happy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Happy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Happy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Happy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Happy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
