Looking for a sweet, friendly boy with a goofy smile? Come meet Charlie! Charlie is a 6-month-old mixed breed pup with a gorgeous black, white, and tan coat. Charlie currently weighs 32 lbs., but he still has some growing to do. He will probably be a large (> 50 lbs.) pup when fully grown.Charlie was rescued by our partner shelter in Texas before making his way to Connecticut. Charlie is a young puppy who absolutely loves to play! He is active and energetic and gets along well with other dogs. He is also very social and loves humans of all ages. Charlie would eventually be a great partner for runs or hikes. However, at this age, short walks are best as the growth plate does not close until around one year of age. Charlie would be a wonderful addition to any family! Charlie is working hard on his leash, crate, and house training, which are all in progress. As with all puppies, Charlie is full of curiosity about the world and is eager to learn. Structure and consistency will be key to helping him learn the ropes and adjust to his new home. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Charlie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Charlie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Charlie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Charlie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
