Meet Rowanberry – The Lap-Loving GentlemanRowanberry (or just Rowan) is the kind of dog who stays with you long after you’ve met him. Sweet, affectionate, and endlessly gentle, he’s the perfect companion for anyone looking for a calm and loyal friend.This A+ boy is wonderful with people of all ages—including kids—and is always polite and curious when meeting someone new. On his Barks and Rec outing, Rowan rode beautifully in the car, hiked the Parkway, met bikers, walkers, picnickers, and even office staff… and every single one of them fell for him. One volunteer summed it up best: “He was a tough one to take back to you all.”He may pull just a little at first on walks—more out of joy than anything else—but he quickly settles into a relaxed, easy pace. And when the excitement fades, Rowan is all about quiet cuddles. He’ll gently climb into your lap and lean in for one of his signature hugs. Rowan is ready to bring his calm, loving presence into a forever home. Come meet him—you just might find the friend you didn’t know you were missing.Rowanberry has participated in shelter playgroups and may enjoy a compatible canine friend in his new home. Looking for a buddy for your dog? Bring him/her to the shelter for a meet and greet and see if we're a match! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *ROWAN BERRY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *ROWAN BERRY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *ROWAN BERRY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *ROWAN BERRY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
