Meet Spocky â Your Goofy, Loving, Adventure Buddy! Spocky is a 1-year-old bundle of fun with a big heart and an even bigger personality! He recently went on a Doggie Day Out, and his volunteer had nothing but glowing things to say about this playful, affectionate pup.Spocky enjoyed exploring Sacramento with curiosity and confidence. He walks well on leash (with just a little manageable pulling), and although he tried to convince his volunteer to let him drive, he settled in the back seat with a few treats and some kind wordsâsuch a silly goose! Once at home, Spocky proved he's possibly housetrainedâno accidents during his 2-hour visit, and he was super respectful of the furniture. Instead of jumping on the couch, he happily flopped on the floor for a quick nap after some epic zoomies in the sun. ??Heâs great at reading the roomâready to play when you are, and perfectly content to lounge by your feet when you're relaxing. He met some barking neighbor dogs with no reaction and passed by children calmly, showing that heâs both well-mannered and adaptable. While he can be startled by sudden noises, he quickly bounces back with reassurance.Spockyâs favorite things? Sticks, treats, squeaky toys, and YOU! For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and SPOCKY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, SPOCKY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the SPOCKY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, SPOCKY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
