Our Very Wonderful BARN/GARDEN CATS are healthy, stray cats who are not suitable for regular adoption due to their feral behavior at the shelter. Barn/garden cats are fixed, vaccinated, microchipped and ear-tipped, and are available at no charge to you.To acclimate the Barn/Garden Cats to your property, you will need to keep the cat(s) in a fully-enclosed weather-proof structure that will eventually be their home, like a barn/shed/unused garage, for at least two weeks, feeding them at the same time/place every day. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and *HANSON (GARDEN CAT) was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, *HANSON (GARDEN CAT)’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the *HANSON (GARDEN CAT)’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, *HANSON (GARDEN CAT)’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
