This affectionate fellow is a true cuddlebug and dreams of spending his days lounging in a loving lap. He is a nonstop purr machine who loves to talk! Despite his age and plump physique, he's in excellent health. We had a senior blood panel and exam done at our vet in March 2025. While he would benefit from a diet, for now, he just has a little extra to love! Seven is eager to find a peaceful forever home after being sadly abandoned by his previous owner. He and his brother Aiden were left behind at a rental property when the owner moved to Texas. Words cannot express how we feel about people who can do this. There is absolutely no excuse. NONE! After observing Seven and Aiden together in their foster home, we have decided that they do not need to be adopted together. While they have lived together their entire lives, they are not particularly bonded to one another. However, they absolutely can be adopted together, and there is a reduced adoption fee of $400 for the pair. Seven is looking for a special, cat-experienced adult-only home with no children or seniors. While he's a sweetheart who craves affection, he can be particular about his petting preferences and may give a little nip if he feels overwhelmed. If you understand and respect feline communication and are seeking a devoted companion who will reward your gentle approach with endless cuddles, then Seven is the purrfect cat for you. The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Seven was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Seven’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Seven’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Seven’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
