Edison Est. DOB 3/2025 Adoption fee: $250 Edison and his brother Einstein were found in a shipping container at a business during a TNR project for the community cats living there! Einstein is super playful! He loves games of chase, tackle, and climbing with his brother Einstein—he even tries to gently tackle his foster mom when she’s in the way of the game! He’s sweet, loves neck scratches, and adores adult cats. Edison would do well in a household who wants an energetic, rowdy kitten to bring a lot of laughter to their home. He needs to be adopted with his brother Einstein or go to a home with a young resident kitty to play with and keep him company! The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag!

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Edison was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Edison’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Edison’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Edison’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
