About this Cat
Dottie Est. DOB 2/2023 Adoption fee: $225 Dottie is a total sweetheart! She’s a gentle, affectionate, sweet cat that loves to be petted. She waits for her foster mom on her cat tree, eagerly expecting attention and love. She loves to lounge at the window and generally is a mellow gal. Dottie was a week old when she came to LapCats and has been in foster care her entire life! She will be shy in a new home at first, but it only look her about 1.5 weeks to adjust to her new foster home and start requesting affection. Dottie would love to find a more calm home without young children or rambunctious dogs. She would do well with another sweet cat (perhaps an older one) or she can be adopted as an only kitty to be spoiled by her people! This beautiful girl is ready for her forever home and she is so deserving. If you think that could be you, please submit an application to adopt her! The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag!

Adopt Dottie and Receive Dottie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Dottie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Dottie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Dottie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Dottie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Dottie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Dottie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Dottie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Dottie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
