About this Cat
Mooshy Est DOB-2019 Adoption fee $400.00 Mooshy is a purebred Persian who was cruelly thrown outside by her former family and left to suffer. Her fur became so matted that her front legs fused together, making it nearly impossible for her to walk. She had painful wounds, ear mites, and a broken heart. But thanks to our amazing friends at Community Spay Neuter (CSN), Mooshy got the medical care and grooming she desperately needed. After some serious TLC at LapCats Manor—including spoon-fed baby food and unlimited Churu treats—she’s transformed into the sweetest, sassiest little lady you’ve ever met! Her hisses are gone, and now she talks in a raspy little meow that sounds like she smokes a pack a day—and she has opinions! She’s soaking up sunshine, lounging with foster friends, and loving life. At first, we thought she would not do well with the dogs, but she has changed her tune with her foster friend who is a French bulldog and a cat lover. If she’s placed in a home with a dog, it has to be a cat friendly dog that is not pushy and in her face all the time. Same with a cat friend. She will definitely hold her own with the other cats if they get close to her and she’s not in the mood. Shes all bark, no bite and they respect her! She’s not confrontational, she just really wants to be with her person always following her around. She recently started to play with the toy in the video. She looked like a little kitten when she saw that thing moving around! Mooshy is now ready for a forever home where she’ll be cherished, spoiled, and never abandoned again but she needs someone who understands the breed and is willing to put the time and effort into keeping her groomed and healthy. The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.

Adopt Mooshy and Receive Mooshy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mooshy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Mooshy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Mooshy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Mooshy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mooshy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mooshy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Mooshy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mooshy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
