About this Cat
Teddy Adoption fee $225.00 Est DOB 4/23 Teddy is a stunning house panther with a beautiful, sleek, shiny black coat. Found roaming a neighborhood, unneutered and searching for someone to open their door—and their heart—Teddy was clearly ready to leave the street life behind. It’s really shocking how many cats have been left behind or allowed to roam and live outdoors fully intact to reproduce. It’s heartbreaking and unacceptable and hard for us to wrap our heads around but it’s happening more and more each day. Now safely indoors, Teddy is thriving and showing just how sweet and affectionate he truly is. He enjoys batting around his toys, lounging on the cat tree to watch the world go by, and curling up next to his foster family for a cozy nap. He absolutely lives for wet food and starts purring the moment he hears the can pop open! Teddy also has a soft, kittenish side—he loves to make biscuits and suckle on his blanket, which is just about the cutest thing you’ll ever see. Teddy is calm and easygoing around other cats. He’s been completely nonreactive to his foster siblings—no growling, no drama—he just minds his business and coexists peacefully. Can’t say the same for the resident cats! If you’re looking for a laid-back, loving companion who’s ready to be someone’s loyal best friend, Teddy may be your perfect match. He’s the kind of cat who just wants to be near you, feel safe, and have a loving family. The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.

Adopt Teddy and Receive Teddy's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Teddy's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Teddy's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Teddy, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Teddy's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Teddy was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Teddy’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Teddy’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Teddy’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
