Sushi Est DOB 7/24 Adoption fee $225 Sushi was found abandoned at a local shopping center. She showed up one day at the cat colony feeding station looking for food. She was very friendly and wasn't one of the regular cats of the colony. Sushi is very affectionate and loving, chatty, playful, and very people oriented. She especially loves playing and napping in her play tunnel. She LOVES to be given attention and always wants to be with you. Her favorite thing to do is cuddle next to you and take her kitty nap. Sushi loves other kitties and needs to go to a home with a young resident kitty to keep her company! The first step in our adoption process is the application which can be found on our website lapcats.org. All of our cats have tested negative for FELV and are fully vaccinated. They have not only been spayed or neutered but have also been treated for worms, fleas, and have been micro chipped. We will register their microchip for you, provide you with a free exam visit to a participating Sacramento veterinarian, and a goodie bag! We do not do out of state adoptions for the safety of our cats.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Sushi's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Sushi was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Sushi’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Sushi’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Sushi’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
