About this Cat
Brief Bio:Poppy was found on 6/25. She's been with us for about 3 weeks. She has no health issues, eats well, and of course loves to play. Poppy is a beautiful Tortie - black, cream, and spots of orange. She has a really cool belly with a big cream patch that has orange stripes! She is being fostered with 4 other kittens.Summary of Personality:Poppy was pretty skittish when she first came home, but she's warmed up to us. She'll come to you for pets, and want to be next to you on the couch. She likes our small dog too and will lay next to the dog and groom her with little kitten licks. She is very playful, does not meow, but will purr instantly. She has a really cute purr - it's a just a little different than the other kitties. She likes to play with the fake mice and carries them around in her mouth. She is pretty curious - she'll find her way into any new box or bag.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc):Poppy has been snuggled by everyone in our family - mom, dad, son (15) & daughter (11) and all of daughter's friends. She likes our small dog as well and likes to sleep near to the dog. She loves her 4 foster kitty sisters and is constantly playing with them.Is your foster litter box trained?: Yes
Contribute to POPPY's Stash!

100% of POPPY's balance will be sent to whoever adopts POPPY.
Adopt POPPY and Receive POPPY's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, POPPY's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is POPPY's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the POPPY, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming POPPY's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and POPPY was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, POPPY’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the POPPY’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, POPPY’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
