About this Cat
Chappie (Angel) may look devilish, but he’s a cuddle bug at heart. He was dumped and had been trying to survive as a stray until he was found with a leg injury after having been attacked (twice now). He went through treatments and was made to stay inside and wear a cone during recovery. He is now fully healed and more than ready to be part of a forever family. This boy needs a safe haven. The vet thinks this 14-pound boy is about 3 years old. Chappie (Angel) is an easy-going, relaxed guy who loves being carried and held like a baby. He doesn’t want much more than to hang out on your bed and knead your leg. He’s social and talkative, and learned how to use a litter box quickly. This is not a shy guy- he loves to meet and interact with human house guests! He displays dominant behaviors, so would do best in a house without other cats. Angel mostly wants to spend his day and night relaxing near you; however, he can play rough so is probably not a great fit for small children or older adults. From being put in a carrier for trips to the vet, to having to wear a cone for a month- he takes everything in stride. He is eager to settle into a house and be part of a loving home.

100% of Chappie's balance will be sent to whoever adopts Chappie.
Adopt Chappie and Receive Chappie's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Chappie's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is Chappie's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the Chappie, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Chappie's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chappie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chappie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Chappie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chappie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
