About this Dog
Sadly, we need to rehome our sweet dog, Arthur. My husband has allergies to dog hair that we didn't realize were going to be so severe when we got him as a puppy. Arthur is a wonderful dog and very beautiful. He is still a bit jumpy and likes to play but responds to training cues well and we've seen a lot of improvement. I'd say he's energetic, which is characteristic to the breed, but also is happy with many of hours of chill downtime with us in the house. I do think families with older children or no children would be ideal. He is very loving with my children but he does try to herd my little ones. A home with a large backyard is also necessary, which we do have and he has greatly enjoyed. Acreage would be even more ideal but he does well with the space we have and supplemental walking. He also does very well at night. Overall he's great! Very intelligent, responsive to training and extremely loving. He is neutered and has his shots.

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Arthur was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Arthur’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Arthur’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Arthur’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
