This adorable group of pups were rescued from a horrific hoarding situation out of L.A. Our rescue was was called to ask if we had room to assist. It is fortunate that we were able to take 5 of the 11 dogs. These dogs are very kind hearted. Sadly they have spent their entire life to-date in cages!! We took them in, bathed them, got them their vaccines, food, water, and blankets to get them settled right in. I have to be in a home with only women I am terrified of men. Though these dogs are very sweet, they may need a little extra time to warm up. They absolutely come out of their shell when we play with them outside. They need lots of snuggles and cuddles. We hope you’ll find as much love for them as we have; maybe even more.The first step in adopting an animal is to fill out the application. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, dewormed, and are treated with advantix for fleas and ticks. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Moose was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Moose’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Moose’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Moose’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
