Maximiliano is a 6-year-old, 63-pound handsome guy with soft eyes, a gentle soul, and a serious talent for giving slobbery kisses! He may start off a little independent, preferring to sniff and explore at his own pace, but once you kneel down to say hi, get ready for full-on affection and wiggly excitement! This sweet boy is treat-motivated and takes snacks like a gentleman. He doesn’t know many commands yet, but he’s eager to connect and would love a patient home to help him learn. He enjoys his walks with occasional pulling, his nose leading the way. He prefers to be the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself. Maximiliano had a skin mass removed from his ear and will need future growths checked by a vet, but he’s ready to move forward with his best life. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Maximiliano was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Maximiliano’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Maximiliano’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Maximiliano’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
