This beautiful guy is Chili who was rescued in the knick of time from the Downey shelter in LA.Chili is very sweet and playful, but can easily get over stimulated and gets very excited when meeting a new person and starts jumping. Chili is in need of someone who can give him the exercise he needs and can handle his very exuberant personality. Therefore we are looking for a very calm, alpha human who can be a leader to him, preferably with Boxer experience. We are looking for a home for him where he will be the only pet with no children. Once he knows you Chili is actually is a very loving and affectionate guy who loves to play, really likes toys and loves to play fetch. He walks on the leash like an angel but gets excited when he seed other dogs, but gets along fine when meeting them. Chili is neutered, chipped, and up to date on all routine vaccinations. He is about 5 years old and weighs 65 pounds. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Chili was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Chili’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Chili’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Chili’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
