About this Cat
PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! JOSH RUSSO and his 4 siblings (KAREN WILSON - AETHENA & MAY GRANT - EDDIE DIAZ were saved from a hoarding case in Watts, California. They were all barley surviving. We named all the cats that were saved from that place after the characters in the show 911. Meet JOSH RUSSO, a gentle orange and white Tabby from Watts, California, whose quiet curiosity and tender heart make him a true hidden gem. JOSH RUSSO is the kind of cat who watches the world with wide eyes and a cautious soul, always interested in what’s happening around him but taking his time before stepping into the spotlight. He’s that soft-spoken friend who hangs back at first, but once you’ve shared a few Churu treats and let him set the pace, his affection starts to bloom. Beneath that gentle shyness is a loyal companion waiting patiently to bond with someone who understands that trust takes time—and is worth every second. He’s especially compatible with a calm, slow-paced home where patience and kindness are part of the daily routine. While he’s okay with other respectful cats and kindhearted people, he’d feel most at ease in a quiet household where things don’t get too loud or overwhelming. Because of his sensitive nature, a family without young children would be a better fit—JOSH RUSSO does best where he can relax without sudden surprises. This charming boy is a big fan of cozy corners, soft beds, and warm sunbeams, where he can curl up and quietly observe before deciding it’s time for a little snuggle session. His timid side doesn’t mean he lacks love—it just means he gives it thoughtfully, slowly, and sincerely. Win him over with a bit of Churu (his favorite treat!) and gentle encouragement, and you’ll find yourself with a faithful little buddy who follows you from room to room, offering the kind of companionship that feels like a quiet hug. JOSH RUSSO needs a loving family who’ll celebrate his progress and offer him the peaceful life he longs for. Adopt JOSH RUSSO and Receive JOSH RUSSO's Fund
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, JOSH RUSSO's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised.
$0.0 is JOSH RUSSO's current balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. If you adopted the JOSH RUSSO, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming JOSH RUSSO's contribution here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and JOSH RUSSO was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, JOSH RUSSO’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the JOSH RUSSO’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, JOSH RUSSO’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
