About this Cat
Estimated Birthday 03-03-2024 Okay to live in a home with... See note May not do well with.... See note Physical Description Heatwave is a tabby with some red spots. Her proportions are well-balanced. She grooms herself very well, and smells like an angel though she's never been bathed. Personality Heatwave is a 7 or 8 month old female tabby mix. She appeared at my door in Davis very early in the morning at the end of June. I have been fostering her since. She is spayed, chipped and has had her FVRCP and rabies vaccines. (The chip was just injected and will need to be registered.) She's growing fast but don't think that she will end up particularly large. She is well balanced (e.g. cuddly but not excessively so - she is generally happy to play with herself, but sometimes likes me to start play which she continues on her own). It seems that she likes to watch Star Trek with me. She's never had any kind of pee-poop accident. She does like jumping into doors to the outside, into opening closet doors, and is typically curious. She's vocal when she's needy or excited about something. So far she's mostly not jumped onto the kitchen counter. I have no idea how she is with other animals, but I think she'll be fine with cats as she's outgoing and energetic. In the past I've most successfully had two cats OR dogs at the same time, and feel strongly that this is best, even if their primary humans works at home etc.In addition to the all the typical and expected adoption requirements, I would strongly prefer that she is adopted into a home with another cat or other small mammal happy to live with cats (dog, rabbit etc.) Also I will only adopt her out to a home where she will remain inside, and where there's no smoking. There's more info and questions in this Google Form. I would appreciate it if you could check it out . https://forms.gle/kF8n44F71ZyQ7ga3A.
