Meet our sweet little Birdie girl! She is a four-month-old tiny Terrier mix who is just as cute as can be. Timid and gentle, Birdie quickly comes out of her shy shell with a little calm and quiet. She absolutely loves her people—especially kids! She's currently in a home with four human siblings, and they are her favorite. Birdie is observant and chill, and her favorite place to be is snuggled up on your lap with a bone. You’ll know you’ve won her over when she rewards you with tons of sweet puppy kisses. She’s doing well with potty training and sleeps quietly in her crate through the night. In fact, we haven’t heard her bark yet! Birdie came from a home with many dogs, so she takes a little time to feel safe and comfortable around new furry friends. A calm, quiet, and patient dog would be the perfect match—someone with the confidence to show this little Bird that the world is fun and full of love. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the contribution by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the contribution. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Birdie was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Birdie’s balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
We want the Birdie’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Birdie’s balance will remain in our general fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
