About this Dog
Im looking for a Foster not rehoming. I am looking for someone to Foster my female spayed dog until December. She is under 35 lb. Medium size, a Blonde Wheat colored Norfolk terrier. She is considered Special needs - Needing her bladder expressed as she cannot totally urinate by herself. She is fixed. Approx 8 yrs old. Approx. 4 years ago she became paralyzed from the waist down due to IVDD Invertebral Disc Disease. They said she would never walk again even with surgery. THESE DAYS SHE IS HAPPY, CAN WALK AND RUN but can get tired. It took me years of physical therapy, wrapping her legs and teaching her to walk again myself. I did not have financial means for physical therapy. I have been awaiting a disability determination the past couple years, I have a court date the end of November. **I am asking for a foster home, while I am in a Shelter. My daughter can no longer keep her and I cannot take her in my current situation. I love my dog like a child and want to be reunited with her. I Have contacted many places recently without any luck. No pet shelter I have contacted can take her & a couple said euthanasia. (Which is ridiculous and breaks my heart for any healthy dog.) If you or someone you know are willing to Foster her please let me know. More pics in comments.
