About this Dog
Meet Koe (pronounced like Joe with a K, after Koe Wetzel the country music star). He is a 7-year-old, 5lb male chihuahua who came into rescue when his owner passed away. Koe has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, had a complete dental, recovered from kennel cough, and his bloodwork and exam look good. Koe is sensitive to change, but once he settles in, he is goofy, playful, resilient, and affectionate. He likes to run around the house, lay in the sun, follow you from room to room, get up in your lap for belly rubs, and bury himself under blankets and pillows. Oh, and he’s in love with his stuffed octopus—carries it everywhere he goes. So, you have to be willing to adopt the octopus too. Koe is happy, fearless, and a joy to be around. He is only comfortable and confident at home, so he’s not going to be one of those “take everywhere with you” chihuahuas. He’d do best with an owner who doesn’t expect him to be adventurous or social outside the home. In his foster home, Koe is well housebroken. But it’s going to take a predictable schedule and a close eye to maintain this. When it’s cold outside, for example, Koe would prefer to sneak away and pee indoors. To keep his good habits going in his new home, he’ll need an owner who will keep close tabs on and supervise him closely. In foster care, Koe has gotten along with everyone he’s met. He’s done well alongside dogs of all sizes (we have a 15-65lb range here). He has also lived previously with other small dogs and cats. Due to his extremely small size, a home without small children or rambunctious large dogs would be best. And because birds of prey are a risk, he will also need to be closely supervised any time he’s outdoors. Koe is adoptable to homes in Tucson, Marana, Oro Valley, Catalina and Sahuarita only. His adoption fee is $275, with an additional $21 for PACC licensing. Please fill out an adoption application here http://tucsoncoldwetnoses.com/adoptable-pets/adoption-application/ to meet Koe or email [email protected] with any questions.

Adopt Koe and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Koe's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).
0.0 DOGE is Koe's current Dogecoin balance
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. If you adopted the Koe, thank you for providing a home and a loving family!
Please begin the process of claiming Koe's Dogecoin here.
For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Koe was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Koe’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
"The fun and friendly internet currency."
Dogecoin sets itself apart from other digital currencies with an amazing, vibrant community made up of friendly folks just like you. Dogecoin is a decentralized, peer-to-peer digital currency that enables you to easily send money online.

We want the Koe’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Koe’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org. If you would like to make a direct contribution to nokillnetwork.org to help us help other pets in need, you can go here. We appreciate your generosity and help!
