Meet Jackson! Jackson and his brother, Phelps, came to Chi Town Rescue from a hoarding situation. Jackson is the smaller of the two, weighing in around ten pounds. He is just nine-months old, and has his whole life ahead of him. Jackson and Phelps were shy when they first came to rescue, but are really blossoming lately. Jackson enjoys prancing around on his long legs, and zooming around, big ears flying in the breeze. He is still a bit avoidant of people, but will wiggle up to you, tail wagging, and lick your hands. Jackson is social with other dogs and enjoys play wrestling and running around the play yard. He is still learning about all the fun things about being a dog, but has definitely discovered the joy of toys! Jackson will need a patient family willing to teach him potty training, leash training, and most importantly- snuggle training! :-) Jackson's adoption fee includes neuter surgery, microchip, Rabies certificate, and vaccinations up to date. Adopt Jackson and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Jackson's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Jackson was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Jackson’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

We want the Jackson’s balance to go to the adopting family as a way to say thank you for providing a loving home and to help with pet care expenses. In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Jackson’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
