Hello everybody, meet Mia! If you ask her, she’s a big, tough lion, but truth be told, she is the cutest, tiniest little pocket pup. Literally 6lbs of cuteness. But you couldn’t tell it by the way she stands her ground! She gets along with just about anyone, whether they have two legs or four, but she’s not shy about asserting her boundaries. She loves nothing more than curling up in someone’s lap or basking in the warm sunshine. She’s not a big barker, but will warn someone bigger if she gets scared she may be stepped on. She’s comfortable around other dogs, as long as they don’t get right in her face, but she would also love to be your only dog, getting all the love to herself. Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Mia's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mia was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mia’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Mia’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
