About this Dog
-Was 1 year old in late-August 2020. Neutered. Up-to-date on shots. Chipped. Crate-trained. Current weight is 60-70 lbs, which is his expected adult weight range. -Smokey loves his people and pleasing them seems important to him. Please consider him only if he will be the only pet. -We do not have much experience with agility training, but we think Smokey would be great at this type of activity. He is motivated to please his people, he trains well with treats, and he works hard to be self-controlled. He can focus for a sustained time, is smart, and is a fast learner. He has a beautiful coat and striking markings that make him stand out. -Walking on a leash or playing in an enclosed yard are suggested ways of exercising Smokey. (Off-lead walking is not recommended.) He would also do well on hiking trails. He returns toys and balls. He also loves being petted and chewing on dog toys. -He has a lot of love to give! We have had several personal circumstances change since we took Smokey into our home, and we realize another home may suit Smokey better. We will keep him in our home until a good match is found. Adopt Smokey and Receive Dogecoin
Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Smokey's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Smokey was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Smokey’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
