Hi! My name is Macaroon (aka Macaroonie ) and my brothers and I were all named after cookie references since our mom’s name is Oreo. A Good Samaritan rescued our mom outside when pregnant and we were born inside our foster mom’s house on 4/5/2024. I am a lap kitten and a big lover like my other brothers! All of us crawl onto foster mom’s lap when she is sitting on the couch. I love to sit on my foster mom’ s lap and knea d into a pillow so a furever home with humans I can get attention from would be great! I like all toys, especially wand toys and crinkle tunnels that we all run through. I like to sit in the kitty hammock and watch the birdies outside. I get along well with other kittens and adult cats. I haven’t met any dogs yet so a careful introduction will help me make friends with any cat-friendly dogs in my new home. I like grownup people of all ages. I haven’t yet experienced children or babies but I’m willing to meet some and make friends! I would love to be adopted by you! I’m up to date on vaccines including rabies, tested negative for FELV/FIV, dewormed, neutered and microchipped. My adoption fee is $160.

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Macaroon's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Macaroon was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Macaroon’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Macaroon’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund. This fund may be used to match contributions made to other adoptable pets, incentify other adoption-related actions, promote our mission, or support the operating expenses of nokillnetwork.org.
