Mercedes is a petite, solid black short hair cat with green eyes. She was originally part of a feral litter of four kittens. Though she is no longer feral, she is very timid and will need someone with a lot of patience to learn her behavior and help her to be more comfortable around people. She gets intimidated when you are standing above her, but she feels more comfortable if she is elevated or if you are more at her level. She has a spunky personality and can be mischievous at times. She likes to play with water so her water needs to be placed somewhere that will be ok with a little water being splashed out. And don’t believe her grumpy face because she loves pets and can get squirrely while being petted. She has been around other cats and even a small high energy dog which she became comfortable and relaxed with. Mercedes is tested, spayed, vaccinated, and micro-chipped. Her estimated birth date is 7/4/23 and her adoption fee is $100.

After verifying the adoption, Mercedes's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Mercedes was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Mercedes’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.
