About this Dog
Aki is in urgent need of a new home. He must have a new home by April 29th. He is a 10-year old Shih-tzu mix. He is 20lbs. He likes to cuddle all the time and will nap on your lap for hours. He is very curious and interested in what his people are doing. He is a perfect chore buddy and enjoys watching you while you cook or do laundry. He is eager to go on walks and enjoys having lots of time to sniff. He loves to grab his leash and bring it to you. He is a bit stubborn about listening to training commands but is a smart boy. He does tend to resource guard so a home without other pets or young children is what he needs. He would do best in a quiet home. No apartments please. The best person for him is someone who can dedicate time for him with lots of walks and training. He takes medication for anxiety and allergies. No other health issues

Adopting a pet can be expensive, and we're trying to help by fundraising for each individual in need of adoption. After verifying the adoption, Aki's new family will receive the funds that their pet has raised. Dogecoin is digital currency that can be exchanged for cash, traded, or held as an investment (see the "What is Dogecoin" section below).

For adoptions in which nokillnetwork.org was the matchmaker and we have contact information for both parties, we make every effort to contact the adopting family. For adoptions that were not facilitated by nokillnetwork.org, we still encourage the adopting family to claim the Dogecoin by submitting the necessary information.
The adopting family is the only party eligible to receive the Dogecoin. The adopting family will be required to provide proof of adoption between 4-6 weeks after adoption. This is to ensure that the home is a good match and Aki was not returned. After we have verified the adoption, Aki’s Dogecoin balance will be sent to the adopting family. Our staff provides instructions and help throughout this process.

In the unfortunate event we cannot contact them and verify the adoption, Aki’s balance will remain in our general Dogecoin fund.
